Sandra wanted a not so traditional buttercream iced cake and needed to serve over 250 quest.  This beauty served  300 and this fountain set up is rarely seen. This was the first time I create this cake with the Bible cake in front, typically it has a large 18" 1/2 round in the front. But for this couple the Bible cake along with their selected verse and names was a much better choice.  Cake flavors were chocolate velvet w/ chocolate ganache, vanilla chiffon with bavarian cream, vanilla chiffon with strawberry, and red velvet with white chocolate cream cheese.

Snowflake Office Party Cake

Chrissy selected a snowflake cake for her companies office party..  this buttercream iced cake served 65 complete with edible snowflakes.   Chocolate velvet cake with chocolate ganache, Vanilla chiffon with white chocolate cream cheese  

Garden Party in December

A spring time shower in December. This fun little cake was for a shower. Chrissy was brave enough to back to back parties. Friday night was an office party at her home and since she was in the mood, she followed up on Saturday with a shower with a garden theme. Red Velvet with white chocolate cream cheese and vanilla chiffon with bavarian creme. Complete with cookies.       

Christmas Crunch Candy

CHIRSTMAS CRUNCH or also know as peppermint crunch..   This is a family favorite.   I use a high quality Belgian white chocolate and only a solid red and green peppermint hard candy crunch and not broken up peppermint candies...   It makes all the difference in the flavor and the look of this festive candy..   Available in 1/4# or 1# bags or in a bulk bag of 5#s for yourto divide up and package to your needs.   Lots of other crunches and chocolates.

Snowflake Winter Wonderland Wedding Cake

Edible snowflake for cakes are one of my favorites...  the photos just do not show the shimmery, glittery ice like beauty of these cakes.(goes to show why you need a professional photographer).  Created for Brenda Morris and David Milan married in Steinhatchee on Saturday Dec  5.  Brenda's cake choices were a seasonal red velvet cake with white chocolate cream cheese filling and a spice cake with pineapple cream cheese filling, covered in buttercream and fondant icing.   Also spray of sugar snowflakes behind the brides clear ice-like topper was just perfect.   

And finishing off her wedding sweets we created  white chocolate snowflake bites boxed in a clear truffle box with silver ribbon.

"There is a Snowman in my kitchen" after a brief holiday, I return to find there has been a Snowman in my kitchen and he has been very busy..... all kinds of holiday sweets. Cakes, Cookies and Chocolates....... and he is not finished yet... Watch for photos tomorrow. Off this morning to decorate my showroom window in time for Newberry's Festival of Lights on Thursday.. a parade also.. love small towns.             here's a peak

Triple Fudge Brownies, Cheesecake Brownies and seasonally decorated cookies...  are now available fresh baked at Silverwind Gifts in Newberry..  

Silverwinds is the cutest little gift shop with so many wonderfully unique gifts, home decor, Biagi beads, cards, bridal gifts & registry...  Deborah Waller, owner, joined the downtown Newberry gang a year ago after she moved here from Alaska, and she has an eye for pretty things...  the shop is located directly on SR26 next door to my cake studio/showroom and has enchanted many a bride when they come to visit me. Stop by for a yummy and enjoy her hospitality.

Amy Hizer & Richard Francis Nov 7 Southern Oaks Country Club in Lake City

Like Amy her cake was a beautiful & elegant and like Richard he was British & she had to surprise him with a cake portrait of their favorite pet, an English bulldog.   This was my first dog cake and we had so much fun with it.  The bridal cake was a combination of cakes, chocolate velvet with bavarian creme, vanilla chiffon with raspberry and a vanilla chiffon with a white chocolate cream cheese and the grooms cake, the puppy was an almond cake and the flag was red velvet w/ white chocolate creme cheese...

A beautiful fall day for a elegantly casual outdoor reception.  Sara loved the idea of cupcakes and using her black and white polka dot theme they were a hit.   Chocolate velvet with chocolate ganache filling,  vanilla chiffon with white chocolate mousse and a strawberry swirl cake with strawberry cream cheese.. something for everyone..
