Meredith Dudley & Jacob Farmer at Turkey Creek Country Club Oct 10




I met Meredith for the first time at our "Say it Sweetly" in February, 2009.  I did not meet Jacob until apx. a month before the wedding when we finalized all our details for their cake design.  Meredith was another bride who had brought in a sketch of a cake she envisioned.  I am going to have to start scanning these drawings to include a photo next to the final cake photo, another great idea from the bride herself...  KUDOS Meredith.

A 3 tier hexagon cake iced in buttercream with the quilted effect on all 3 tiers (another first), navy ribbon and navy pearls along with a fancy script monogram in a blue on a oval sugar plaque. The 2 jade roses I made of sugar in a greenish-yellow.   We delivered the cake to the Turkey Creek Country Club where Chef Peter White from Chef Brothers Catering had a table ready for set up.  Meredith and Jacob's cake choices were red velvet with white chocolate cream cheese filling and light vanilla chiffon with white chocolate mousse filling... it was a weekend for red velvet.   My photography is not so great sorry for poor photo... need to find her photographer...
